Sami parliamentary elections

Sami parliamentary elections are held every four years in Norway. Every Sami person registered in the Sami Parliament electoral register has the right to vote.

The Sami Parliament is the elected parliament of the Sami people in Norway and is an independent elected body.

Sami parliamentary elections are held every four years on the same day as the parliamentary election. There are seven constituencies that cover the entire country. Each constituency is distributed seats based on the number of people registered in the electoral role in the constituency. A total of 39 representatives are elected from across the entire country.
